Lifetime Sleep Duration and All-Cause Mortality in the Health Professionals Follow-Up Study. Our aim was to examine the association of sleep duration with all-cause mortality in a general population sample of US men and women. Study participants included 98,599 men and women who completed the sleep questionnaires and were free of cardiovascular disease (CVD) at enrollment in the Health Professionals Follow-up Study (1986-1990). Survival time was measured from 1996 (or later) to the date of death or December 31, 2011. Sleep duration was categorized as ≥7, 6, 5, 4, and ≤3 h. During an average follow-up of 14.7 years, 17,255 deaths occurred. After multivariable adjustment, sleep duration was not associated with all-cause mortality (P interaction = 0.12). No evidence for a nonlinear association was observed. Although we observed a significant association of sleep duration with incident cancer, no association was observed with all-cause mortality. Our study does not provide support for the notion that any individual-level increase in sleep duration is associated with reduced mortality from any cause or CVD, regardless of whether it is achieved in normal or pathological ranges.Q: How to change image of a marker when tapping on map I have a MapView in a map activity and I need to change the image of a custom marker when the user taps on it. Is there any way to do this? I know that I can create a class of my own marker that inherit from the default marker but, in that case, I can't understand how I can customize this class. Thank you! You can add a custom class, extends OverlayItem, to create your custom marker. In the constructor, you set the image. public CustomOverlayItem(Bitmap image, String title, LatLng position) { super(title, position); mImage = image; } Then in your custom listener that you create, you can change the marker's icon. canvas = (Canvas) view.getTag(TAG_C
